LP Press November 3, 2017

Good afternoon Lincoln Prairie families,

Happy Friday! We enjoyed a fantastic Whole School Meeting this morning. We had a number of recognitions on the agenda, including Cross Country and Girls Basketball, Patrol of the Month, Over & Aboves, Keys of Excellence and our Spark Award. Our Middle Level student Project Development Time projects were showcased, another Kindergarten/First Grade performance and a gift of gratitude from the Lincoln Prairie 8th Grade Class.  For so many reasons this meeting is already one of the highlights of our month!

Please check out this week’s LP Press November 3, 2017.pdf . As always upcoming events, dates and information is included.

Neighborhood Shirts are in! However, we will be surprising our students with an activity upon distribution of the shirts later this month. We will let you know when they will be expected home.

Multicultural Parent Advisory Council

Would you like to volunteer or become more involved in your child’s school?   Join us as we hear about the benefits of being part of a multicultural community from Multicultural Parent Advisory Council parents who have successfully gotten involved in Parent Teacher Association and their school community.  They will also share strategies for helping yourself and others feel more comfortable volunteering in the schools.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, November 14th at 9:00 a.m. at the District 54 Rafferty Administration Center, 524 E. Schaumburg Road.  Childcare is available for children ages 3-5.  Click the link for more information in English, Japanese, Spanish and Polish: Multicultural Parent Advisory Council Informational Flyers.

Have a wonderful weekend,
