LP Press November 17, 2017

Good morning,

We’ve had a wonderful week here at LP! Wednesday’s neighborhood activity was so much fun! We will be wearing our neighborhood shirts on neighborhood and Whole School Meeting days . . .and of course, any day in between!

Please take a few minutes to read through this week’s LP Press November 17, 2017.pdf for upcoming information. There are quite a few time sensitive pieces included. The Parent Teacher Student Association Philanthropic committee is hosting a Pie Making event Monday night. All pies will be donated to the Willow Creek Community Care Center. Check out this PIE DAY LINK for donation and volunteer opportunities.

SAVE THE DATE- Lincoln Prairie will be hosting a Barnes & Noble night on Friday, December 8th from 4:30-8:00pm. This open house event will provide an opportunity for families to shop for holiday gifts and engage in some fun filled LP activities. A percent of the proceeds will be given back to LP to help fun parent and student book clubs this year. Fuddruckers has also partnered with us that night as well, so feel free to plan a dinner out as well! More detailed information about activities will be included in the December 1st LP Press.

Lastly, just a reminder as we head into our winter months. . . In order to help parents better prepare for the severe cold weather and snow we often get during winters in our community, I wanted to share with you the District 54 Severe Cold Weather Response Plan. Though District 54 makes every effort to keep our schools open and operational, circumstances beyond our control oftentimes dictate school closings.

We hope to see you tomorrow at our Annual Pancake Breakfast and Book Fair!
