Lincoln Prairie Weekly Update November 9
We loved hosting our annual Grandparent’s Day this past Thursday. I can’t even isolate what inspired me most about this year’s event. The excitement, the engagement of our grandparents or the compliments towards our wonderful school. All were such a nice reminder of how important creating space for positive experiences benefits our children. They were able to demonstrate confidence and celebrate what they do every day! Please pass along our sincere thank you to all of the grandparents that shared their day with us. It mattered to our students!

District 54 Cold Weather Response Plan
In order to help parents better prepare for the severe cold weather and snow we often get during winters in our community, I wanted to share with you the District 54 Severe Cold Weather Response Plan. You can access the plan by clicking here. Though District 54 makes every effort to keep our schools open and operational, circumstances beyond our control oftentimes dictate school closings.
Once again, we are asking parents to take the 5Essentials Survey. The information collected provides our school feedback to help guide our work. We need at least 20% of our parents to participate in order to have results reported back to us. Please read through the 5Essentials Parent Survey letter from Superintendent DuRoss for more information by clicking here.
Have a wonderful weekend!
