Lincoln Prairie Friday Updated February 28
We are excited to be entering the weekend, the month of March and Seussical fun! As you know, we are in the final stages of bringing our community BIG EVENT, Seussical the Musical to fruition. Students, staff, alumni and families have been working tirelessly to get the production and the Musical Museum ready for you next week!
Once again, we will be using the month of March to practice happiness habits each day. Your child will be bringing home the March 2020 calendar that identifies an activity each day that focuses on a habit that can bring internal happiness, as well as spreading joy and kindness to others. We look forward to honoring all the positive experiences during our April Whole School Meeting. Please click here for the March 2020 Calendar.
A note from Nurse Miller and District 54
You should have received an email yesterday from Superintendent DuRoss regarding the health and safety of our children. Please read through the attached document for reminders from our school nurse as well. Please click here to access a Note from our School Nurse.

Increasing Happiness in a Busy World – March 12
We all strive for happiness, but in our busy everyday lives it can be easy to forget to be happy. Happiness is not something that happens to you but rather a choice you can make to lead a more fulfilling and enriching life. Research shows that choosing happiness has an advantage beyond simply feeling good. Come learn about the benefits of positive psychology from some of our very own District 54 Junior High Student Ambassadors and walk away with simple tactics to increase your happiness. Experience the happiness advantage through fun and interactive activities the whole family can enjoy. Families including students in kindergarten through eighth grade are welcome. This event will take place from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 at the District 54 Professional Learning Center, 522 E. Schaumburg Rd. (Door C1) in Schaumburg. Please click here to access the March 12 Happiness flyer.
To register please click here to access the SPU Online Form or for more information, contact Meg Kwak at 847-357-2154 or email@example.com. Leave your name, contact information, the number of children needing childcare (free) and your child’s school.
Enjoy the weekend!
