Our first round of Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing starts August 26th and runs until September 6th. We will be testing kindergarten through eighth grade students using the computer-based MAP assessment tools. The purpose of MAP Growth and MAP Reading Fluency (K-2) is to inform teachers of the immediate instructional needs of students. MAP results equip educators with key data to help personalize instruction and pinpoint individual student needs. Although students cannot study for the MAP test, you can help your child be ready to do their best by ensuring they have a full night of rest and a healthy breakfast. Please look out for more information regarding MAP testing in communication from your child’s teacher.
