April 30, 2021
Dear Lincoln Prairie Community,

We are so excited to be entering into the last month of school – and not because we are almost done with the school year, but because of the excitement and opportunity that awaits! MAP testing, classwork and teacher feedback will help us to plan for next year. Our remaining Track meets, WITWILP and Graduation are events that bring us together as a school community and will definitely create positive memories as a culmination for the year. Even more, the normalcy of spring time behavior and excitement reminds us all that we are engaged in real life together!

Please read through all of the information below. If you haven’t made your selection for In Person Learning or the Virtual Academy for next year, please do so by May 14th. If we can help talk through your decision, please call or email. We are happy to help!

District 54 Home Olympics

Physical Educators from across District 54 invite you to take part in this year’s Field Day from the comfort of your own home or backyard the week of May 3rd-May 7th.  All stations can be created using materials from around your home.  Find time for fun on one night, or make the fun last all week!   We have also teamed up with the District 54 Grizzlies, our Special Olympics team, to add adaptations for students who need them so we are sure everyone can participate!  We look forward to seeing your photos and comments on each school’s Padlet! This could be a great way to spend Wednesday, May 5th on our student non-attendance day. You can find more information by clicking here

Spring Measures of Academic Progress Testing

Lincoln Prairie’s Measures of Academic Progress testing window is from May 3rd – May 12th.  The computer-based assessment will be administered to students in-person. The purpose of the assessment is to continue to obtain data points on our students and to continue to plan for instruction that meets the needs of each student.

Communication to remote students regarding the date and time of the assessment was sent via US Mail from the Lincoln Prairie office. If you have any questions regarding your child’s Measures of Academic Progress testing, please contact your child’s teacher.
