|Dear Lincoln Prairie Community,
Thank you for taking the time to connect with us over the past two days during this round of Conferences. Discussing celebrations and challenges together, created opportunities for the months ahead that will certainly benefit our students. We appreciate all you have been doing to ensure your child is doing their best while at home and communicating with us so we can best support them on our end!
We are thrilled to be welcoming back students at Lincoln Prairie full time beginning next week! For those families returning to full time In Person Learning, we ask that you review the previous email of information prior to beginning Tuesday.
Remote families, thank you in advance for your understanding as teachers and staff work through balancing teaching students at home and at school concurrently. Please refer to your child’s teacher’s email regarding next week to understand what, if any, changes to the schedule will look like. Some classes and grade levels may have a certain degree of asynchronous time for remote learners based on the class time needed to review and practice expectations, manage a larger number of students or work through logistics.

In Person Learning – Self-Screener Completion
Each morning of in person learning, the district will send an email to the primary email address on file with a daily screener. Parents are required to complete the screener by 8:30 am. The Lincoln Prairie nurse or office staff will follow up with any family that does not complete the screener. If parents answer “Yes” to any symptoms/questions on the screener, your child MUST stay home, however, they can still attend school remotely.
Once again we are reaching out to our families and asking you to participate in the annual Illinois 5Essentials Survey to provide us with your perspective and help guide our school improvement efforts. The parent survey will be available online through April 2, 2021, by clicking here. Please note, when you enter the school name, please type in Lincoln Prairie to select our school.
