|Dear Lincoln Prairie Community,
The final countdown is on. We are pleased to say the end of the year is ending almost as “normal” as a typical school year. Our Big Event plans, student excitement and end of year traditions are in full effect! Thank you for encouraging full participation from your children next week. We want them to be part of knowing that these times are important to their well-being and socialization. Ending this year on a high note will help bridge students to starting next year off successfully!

Where in the World is Lincoln Prairie?
WITWILP (Where In The World Is Lincoln Prairie) is coming soon! We are looking forward to celebrating our annual Big Event with our students on May 25-27! This three day simulation experience will “take” our students on an adventure through different experiences that relate to our theme of Wonder. Remote students who are remaining home should please plan to pick up materials needed for WITWILP at Lincoln Prairie on Monday, May 24th anytime between 8:30-4:30 p.m. A separate link will be sent to you Monday to ensure your child can participate in the experience.
Lincoln Prairie Class of 2021
We enjoyed celebrating our 8th graders today as we practiced for their upcoming ceremony, surprised them with a celebration parade and shared a commemorative video with them. Our 8th graders will graduate this Sunday, May 23 at Hoffman Estates High School. We are looking forward to our school choir and band’s performance at the event as well! We will be sending out a link of the Graduation Recording next week for those that would like to celebrate their accomplishments.
Summer Virtual Library
All Lincoln Prairie families will have access to our Summer Virtual Library. You can find this link on our Lincoln Prairie website all summer.

Open Chair Positions for 2021-2022
As the school year is winding down we are starting to plan for next year. We are currently compiling a list of committees with open chair positions for the 2021-2022 school year. This is a great way to get involved and work with other amazing volunteers. We would like to have all positions filled before the end of the school year. We want to be prepared for any activities/events that may be happening either zoom or in person however they may look like.
The following is the updated list for open chair positions:
Field day (co-chair)
Back to school picnic
If you have any questions about the committees or what the role of a committee chair entails please reach out to:
