Staff Changes

As we conclude this school year and look to the 2021-2022 school year, we say goodbye to Mr. Natrop. Mr. Natrop is retiring this year after 30 years in education and most recently 5 years with us. He will definitely be missed! Ms. Girgis will be stepping into the Middle Level Humanities role and Mrs. Hauck will be transitioning into an Acceleration support teacher here at LP. We will soon be formally announcing the name of our newest staff member, a new 4/5 classroom teacher. We are confident they will be an excellent addition to the Lincoln Prairie staff! More to come! Lastly, we will be welcoming several guest teachers and staff next fall as we have four staff members expecting. Please join me in welcoming everyone to their new positions next year.

One School One Book

Our tradition continues as we head into the summer awaiting our One School One Book announcement. Each family will receive a book in the mail to read and enjoy together. There will be several connections when we return in the fall. Until then, happy reading!  For those that are wondering about last year’s cookbook. . . we didn’t get enough submissions to make it work. Don’t worry, we might try again some year in the future!

Summer Virtual Library

All Lincoln Prairie families will have access to our Summer Virtual Library. You can find this link on our Lincoln Prairie website all summer.

Message from the President

This school year definitely was one for the books! We persevered through it all. We didn’t know what to expect or what was going to happen. We were optimistic and gave our children the best experiences we could. We were creative and thought out of the box. Although not every event was able to happen we were grateful for the ones that could. On behalf of the PTSA Executive Committee I would like to thank all of our volunteers for your hard work for planning the events we had during this unique year and all the families and staff for participating. I wish you all a wonderful summer making lots of new memories with your families!! Look forward to seeing you all next year!!
