January 14, 2022
Good afternoon,

We appreciate the opportunity this week has brought for our students, staff, and families to reconnect after Winter Break. It has been wonderful to hear all the memorable moments shared by families during our time apart. Students were very excited to see their classmates and eager to continue learning with their teachers!

We enjoyed our January Whole School Meeting today! Classes engaged in a whole school dance party, a PBIS adventure and an exciting Whole School trivia game. In addition to the recognition, it was so nice to hear all the laughter and cheering throughout the hallways! As we embark on the second half of the school year, we are looking forward to sharing many more fun traditions with our students.

Proper outside attire for breaks and recess
We will plan for all K-5 students to engage in outdoor recess unless the temperature is too cold or the conditions are unsafe. Please send your children to school with warm coats, snow pants, boots, hats and gloves. Middle Level students will continue to take breaks outside. Please remind them that coats, hats and gloves will help keep them warm during these times. If your child is in need of any of these items, please contact our main office. They will direct you to our school social worker or school nurse for additional support.

Winter Student Led Conferences on February 17 and 18
We look forward to connecting with you at our upcoming Winter conferences on Thursday, February 17 and Friday, February 18.  Similar to the Fall, you will have the opportunity to sign up online for individual conferences with your child’s teacher.  We will be sending out the link to sign up for conferences with accompanying directions soon.
