This past Monday night, parents gathered for our first Lincoln Prairie Parent Teacher Student Association meeting of the year. Thank you to the parents who came out to learn more about the events and activities that our parents create and run. It truly takes all of us to ensure our school community is one that helps all families feel welcomed and valued. Each meeting we will spend some time getting to connect with each other, share ideas and discuss plans for future events. You do not have to be ready to jump in and run a committee – just come to learn more about the school you’ve chosen to be part of. Whether you come once and awhile or every month, we’d love to have you!
Wednesday was our first Neighborhood Meeting. During this time, students gathered in their Neighborhood groups and engaged in visual-spatial activities around the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. We hope you like our Dot Art Installation throughout the building the next time you are at Lincoln Prairie!
Have a wonderful weekend!
