Have an incoming Kindergartener? Whether you are feeling excited or sad about that please join us on their first day, August 24th at 9:00am for BooHoo/Yahoo. After drop off, parents can enjoy a donut and a photo!

Lunch Extreme will be on Wednesdays and Treat Day will be every other Monday.

Room Rep
Who’s ready to party? If you’re a new LP family, welcome! LP has many opportunities for family involvement, one of which is Room Parties for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
There are three Room Party celebrations throughout the year; these events will vary according to grade levels. Each classroom needs a Room Representative who will work together with the other Room Reps within their grade level. As a team, your task will be to plan activities and crafts, as well as recruit volunteers to help make each celebration a fun experience for the students!
If you are interested in becoming the Room Representative for your child’s classroom, please fill out this Google Form.
If you are selected as a Room Rep, the Room Rep meeting will be held on Monday, September 14th at 4:00pm and will be held in the school lounge at LP.

Room Party Contributions
Does your schedule prohibit being a Room Rep or a volunteer for classroom activities? Help make classroom celebrations extra special! This helps us cover the cost of crafts, games, decorations, and other supplies used during classroom parties throughout the school year. Your contribution helps our room representatives plan fun, memorable celebrations for students without placing the full cost on individual volunteers.

Dine to Donate
September 25th will be the first Dine to Donate of the school year. This will be held at Sprinkles Ice Cream Shop. Hope to see you there!
Reflections 2026 - 2027
It’s time for the National PTA Reflections Art Contest! Reflections is an arts program that encourages students in Pre-K through Grade 12 to create original works of art in response to a specific student-selected theme. This year’s theme, “What My Culture Means to Me,” calls for your child's own unique interpretation through the arts. For information and how to submit please click here.
