Doors will open at 9:00am on the first day of school (August 14th for grades 1-8 and August 21st for kindergarten). All students should be in the building by 9:10am for a 9:15am start to their day. Please be patient with bus transportation. Our buses pick up our students after they have picked up and dropped off students at schools with earlier start times. This may create a trickle effect of delays the first few days of school. This applies to arrival and dismissal. Please make sure Bus Passes are affixed to the outside of your child’s backpack.
The day will be focused on connection and engagement! Please ensure your children are well rested and eat a good breakfast to ensure they are in a place to combat nerves or anxiety. Our goal is to create a day that has high levels of student engagement for all! Parents, you are welcome to walk your child in on the first day of school to help them acclimate, if needed. There will be staff members in the hallways during arrival to ensure all students are helped and get where they need to be!
