With the new layout, we have all new arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure our students move safely and efficiently to and from school. We have outlined new drop off and pick up locations to allow for limited congestion and enhanced monitoring of students.
Arrival:
- All students should arrive at school between 9:00-9:10am. This will allow time for them to put away materials in lockers and get into their classroom to start their day promptly at 9:15am.
- Students will enter through the locations listed below.
- Bus Riders: Arrive and Dismiss through Door 1 (the Main Entrance)
- Parent Drop Off (Drive in Car): Arrive and Dismiss through Door 7 (East Entrance by the New Park). Please park on the North side of the street, or you will need to walk down to the corner of Fremont and Hillcrest Blvd to access the crossing guard to cross Hillcrest Blvd.
- Walkers (Walk Home): Arrive and Dismiss through Door 3 (Back Door into the neighborhood)
- STAR Students: Arrive and Dismiss through Door 1 (Main Entrance)
- Please Note: We will no longer allow car drop off or pick up in the neighborhood behind school. The path will not be supervised by a staff member any longer.
Dismissal:
- All students will be released when the bell rings at 3:35pm; or at 3:05pm every Wednesday and at 12:15pm on all half days.
- Bus Riders will remain supervised by staff until released to their bus.
- Students will dismiss through the locations listed below
- Bus Riders: Arrive and Dismiss through Door 1 (the Main Entrance)
- Parent Pick Up (Drive in Car): Arrive and Dismiss through Door 7 (East Entrance by the New Park) Please park on the North side of the street or you will need to walk down to the corner of Fremont and Hillcrest Blvd to access the crossing guard to cross Hillcrest Blvd.
- Walkers (Walk Home): Arrive and Dismiss through Door 3 (Back Door into the neighborhood)

- All K-1 students who are being picked up by parents will be held by a staff member at the pick up location by the park.
- Cars will not be allowed into the Parking Lot during Arrival and Dismissal.
