Students are enjoying the new playground! We’ve taught them what safe play on the equipment looks like. There are pieces to the playground that are accessible for children of all ages and sizes. We’ve reviewed the basics like taking turns, not climbing up a slide or walking in front of the swings while they’re in motion. They’ve also learned new expectations for climbing heights and careful movement from one piece of equipment to the next. Parents, if you are supervising your children at the playground after school, please monitor them closely as they are becoming more familiar with the new equipment and reinforce these expectations as well.
