It was fantastic to see so many LP parents at today’s WSM. We enjoyed celebrating all that has taken place throughout the past month. We also revealed this year’s Big Event – our community musical! Your child is coming home with a flyer explaining more.
Although we were quite busy this week, we were able to find time for some important things. Specifically, taking part in two emergency safety drills. Students did an excellent job following teacher direction and learning how to keep themselves safe during an emergency situation. On Monday, the 4/5 students hosted a Q & A with our Superintendent, Andy DuRoss. He was invited to share about his job as it relates to the structure of government they had recently learned about during social science. At several points, he was impressed with their questions and their ability to process what he was saying. After that, he stayed to help with dismissal (which many of the students enjoyed), as well as our last Girls Basketball Home Game.
We hope to see you tomorrow at our annual Fall Fest (details below)!
