We are looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone during this annual LP tradition. At 5:00pm, we will open the doors to our school for families. Just like a new home, we will be simply “moved in” at this point. No fancy decorations, no fun displays, just the awesomeness of the newly renovated LP – which is BEAUTIFUL!! You’ll definitely want to prioritize coming to Curriculum Night and other events throughout the year to see how the building itself evolves into the homey place we all have come to know and love.
When you come to Supply Drop Off, you will head to your child’s classroom or Advisory Room if you are in 6th, 7th or 8th grades (Middle Level). Please use this
School Map by clicking here to navigate the changes and new spaces around our school. Additional maps will be available when you enter. Once there, you will see your room and get directions on what to do with your supplies. While most classroom teachers will be in attendance waiting to greet you, please note that some will not be in attendance. However, all classrooms will be open and ready to welcome families. At 6:00pm, classroom doors will be closed, so teachers can head outside and enjoy the picnic. The ENTIRE building will be closed at that time. Bathrooms will be open outside at the Park District building, next to the new Improved Park and our Parking Lot.
Our Picnic will take place in our Parking Lot from 5:00-7:00pm. During this time, students can play or hang out, parents can connect and talk and everyone can eat! You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner from home or take part in a couple of food trucks our PTSA has arranged to be present. We will be serving both pizza and tacos;
