District 54 residents can take advantage of the opportunity for open enrollment. Instead of attending their neighborhood school, students who live in District 54 and are registered to attend District 54 schools can apply to one of our schools that offer unique learning opportunities.
If you are interested in applying to Lincoln Prairie School, please complete the Lincoln Prairie School Open Enrollment Student Application by clicking here on or before the February 28, 2025 deadline. Please note that only applications received before the February 28, 2025 deadline will be considered in our first lottery drawing. The application will be available on-line beginning January 6, 2025.

Important Dates
- January 22, 2025 – Open Enrollment Fair at 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Professional Learning Center
- January 22, 2025 – Online registration begins for new District 54 students and can be accessed by clicking here.
- Parent Visitations at Lincoln Prairie. Please note, these are repeat visitations.
- January 31, 2025 1:30-2:30pm
- February 4, 2025 10:00-11:00am
- February 28, 2025 – Deadline for parents to file applications
- March 14, 2025 – Date for schools to send letters inviting parents to attend their school
- April 4, 2025 – Deadline for parents/guardians to accept the school’s invitation. The letter you receive you will include a link to accept the invitation. If you cannot locate the letter, please contact the school office.
